CARROLL D. ANDERSON

Carroll D. Anderson, 75, of San Tan Valley, Ariz., passed away on Sept. 21, 2019, with pancreatic cancer.

Carroll (Andy) was born April 10, 1944, in Milton, Iowa, to Milo and Pearl Anderson. After graduating from Fairfield Senior High in 1962, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He met his wife, Sheila, while stationed at Alameda, Calif. They were married 50-years before Sheila's death in 2016. Carroll worked in the communications industry in Iowa and Minnesota for 40-years. He retired to Arizona in 2007 with Sheila to be full time grandparents. His greatest joy was being 'Papa' to his six grandchildren. Carroll passed at home surrounded by his family.

Carroll is survived by his children, son, Jeffrey Anderson, daughters, Jeanne Anderson and Jennifer Reasor (Brian); sister, Donna MIles (Giff Shanstrom); brother, Terry Anderson (Midge); six grandchildren, Haley, Devin and Brooklyn Reasor and Matthew, Marisa and Nathan Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.

Carroll was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila; daughter, Tera; mother, Pearl; father, Milo; and sister, Shirley Keller.

San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home in Queen Creek, Ariz., is handling the arrangements. There are no services planned at this time.
