Carroll Myron 'Bud' Hansen, Sr. April 21, 1925 - November 12, 2003

Carroll Myron "Bud" Hansen, Sr., 78, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003 at home in Wayland.

      A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jeffrey Crawford officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 2561, American Legion Post 58 and AMVETS Post 44. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Durham Cemetery in Durham, Calif., at a later date. Memorials may be designated to Crossroads Hospice of Southeast Iowa.

Survivors include three sons: Carroll Jr. and his wife Terri Hansen of Wayland; Steve Hansen of Durham, Calif.; and Jamie Hansen of Willows, Calif.; a daughter, Jeanene Hansen of Durham, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Ellen and her husband Bill Welch of Fresno, Calif; and Alice Fogle of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister Francelia Willadsen.
