Cassandra Marie Dulaney, 36, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, in Cedar Rapids.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2 to

4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Private family interment will take place at a later date.

A general memorial has been established.

Cassandra was born April 1, 1983, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Randy and Charlene (Freeman) Dulaney. She attended school in Washington and graduated from Washington High School.

She was employed at the Washington County Hospital for many years. Cassandra loved to scrapbook and journal.

Cassandra is survived by her two children, Oscar and Willow Schadt; partner, Daymun Schadt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; father, Randy Dulaney of Des Moines; brother, Thomas Dulaney of Dallas Center, Iowa; brother, Kenneth Dulaney of Ainsworth, Iowa; sister, Kiersten Hotopp, and husband, Andrew of Des Moines; sister, Kindra Catron of Grimes, Iowa; brother, Matthew Dulaney of Centerville, Iowa; and one niece and one nephew. She also is survived by Darby and Bobby Dawson of Washington, Iowa; Tedra Schadt of Las Vegas; and her aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother; paternal grandparents; and brother-in-law, Jeremy Catron.
