Catherine Carmody
Catherine Carmody, 93, of Nevada, and formerly of Melrose, died Wednesday, May 30, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose, with the Rev. Robert Lathrop officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Melrose. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 1, at the church, with the family present. There will also be a 7 p.m. Christian Wake Service. An open memorial has been established. Condolences may be made at www.winfieldfh.com. The Winfield Funeral Home in Albia is in charge of arrangements.
