Catherine E. Wallace

      Catherine E. Wallace, 73, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, at Faith Baptist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Don Ruffenach, the Rev. Oliver Parrish, and Jack Bonham officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Faith Baptist Church, or to a general memorial.

      Mrs. Wallace was born on May 18, 1930, in Washington, to John and Fern (Wilson) Little. She married Stanley Wallace on Sept. 6, 1947, in Washington.
