Catherine Harris

Catherine Harris, 96, of Washington, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, in the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following declining health.

      Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27 in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Interment will be in Crawfordsville Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the M.L. McCreedy Home or to the Marion Avenue Baptist church.

      Mrs. Harris was born Aug. 2, 1912 in Washington County, the daughter of Frank and Dora Wilma (Parker) Hesseltine. She married Clarence "Bill" Dusenbery. He preceded her in death. She later married Arthur Harris.
