Catherine Richard
Catherine Richard, 88, of Wayland, died Thursday, June 21, at the Parkview Home in Wayland following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were Monday, June 25, at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Robert Hartzler officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements. A memorial has been established.
Catherine was born Nov. 12, 1918, in Washington County, the daughter of Eli and Annie Bissey Yoder. She attended school in Nira. She married Oscar Richard in February of 1948 at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church.
