Cecil William Myers

      Cecil William Myers, 95, of Davenport, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at Genesis Medical Center - West Campus in Davenport.

      A Celebration of Life service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Lockridge, with a military graveside service conducted by American Legion Post No. 26 of Davenport.

      Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church or Davenport Breakfast Lions Club.

      Mr. Myers was born in 1912 in Keokuk, the son of Harry and Pearl Myers. He married Gertrude Fulton in 1935 in Fairfield. She died in 1995.
