Charlene Herner
KALONA ? Charlene Herner, 77, of Kalona, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, after a short illness, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Scott Swartzendruber and the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to the time of the service, Monday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pleasantview Home or Iowa City Hospice.
Miss Herner was born Jan. 17, 1931, in Goshen, Ind., the daughter of Edwin and Marie (Miller) Herner.
