Charles Anthony “Tony” Weldon was born June 24, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of James Lowell and Vivian Fern (Oris) Weldon. He graduated from Williamsburg High School and Kirkwood Community College with a welding certificate. He worked at Williamsburg Manufacturing for many years before most recently working at Kinze Manufacturing. On October 3, 1992, Tony was united in marriage to Shari Lynn Alsager in Holbrook, Iowa. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, grilling, playing cards and listening to music, especially hard rock. Tony died on Monday, October 7, 2024, at his home in Williamsburg, at the age of 60 years.

He is survived by his wife Shari of Williamsburg; three children, Jake (Bethany) Weldon of Williamsburg, Ben (Grey Miecznikowski) Weldon of Westmont, IL, and Anna Weldon of Ames; two grandchildren, Arya & Koe Weldon; mother Vivian Weldon; siblings Pat (Garry) Yauk, Jim (Sandy) Weldon, Tim Weldon, Ron (Kathy Stockton) Weldon, Doug (Karen Azevedo) Weldon, Jeff (Sally) Weldon, Sharon Weldon, Helen Weldon, Sue Weldon and Lea Weldon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father; a brother Daniel Weldon and a sister Peg Weldon.
