Charles C. Capper
KALONA-Charles C. Capper, 87, of Wellman, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Marengo Memorial Hospital in Marengo, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman, with the Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 7 a.m., at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Asbury Methodist Church, Iowa County Hospice, or Iowa Lions Foundation.
