Charles 'Chuck' Leaton
KALONA - Charles "Chuck" Leaton, 63, of Kalona, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City of an apparent heart attack.
No funeral is scheduled. A time of sharing for friends and relatives will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. The body will be cremated following the visitation. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Leaton was born Aug. 7, 1945, the son of Clarence and Dorothy (DeRosear) Leaton. He married Irene Lauth on Aug. 25, 1970 in Burlington.
