Charles D. Curtis

WINFIELD ? Charles Doug Curtis, 58, of Winfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at his home.

The family will meet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7, at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with a funeral ceremony to follow at 7 p.m. The cremation burial will take place at a later time at the Crawfordsville Cemetery.

Mr. Curtis was born March 9, 1958, in Washington, the son of Charles Claire and Dorothy (Walten) Curtis. He married Barb Groom.

He graduated from WACO High School. He worked at Crane Foundry for 20 years and then at Tyson Foods for five years. He loved his children and grandchildren, along with driving and building Demo cars.

Surviving are his father, Claire, of Winfield; two sons, Charles Shane and Tiffany Curtis of Salem, and Dusty Curtis of Homestead; four grandchildren; one brother, Rodney and Vicki Curtis; and one sister, Terry and Danny Todd.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy.
