Charles E. Jarvis April 30, 1952 - August 20, 2003

      Charles E. Jarvis, 51, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., died on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, in Kansas City, Mo.

      The funeral service was on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Prichard Chapel in Excelsior Springs, followed by a graveside service in McFall Cemetery in McFall, Mo. with military honors. A memorial has been established.

            Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eric Eugene and his wife Amber Lee Jarvis and Jason Edward and his wife Kristen Dionne Jarvis, all of Excelsior Springs; a daughter, Amy Marie and her husband Toby Matthew Baldwin of Excelsior Springs; his father and stepmother, James R. and Pat Jarvis of Burlington; his mother and stepfather, Berdita and Lavelle Hibbs of New London; two brothers, Scott Jarvis and Mike Jarvis, both of Donnellson; two sisters, LaVita Ingwersen and Berdelle Noel, both of New London; a half brother, Chris Jarvis of Iowa City; a stepbrother, John Pennock of Macon, Mo.; and six grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Jeff Jarvis in 2000.
