Charles L. Messer, 68, Winfield
WINFIELD - Charles L. Messer, 68, of rural Winfield, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at the Olds United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Harold Schnedler and the Rev. Jonna Jensen officiating. Private family burial, with military rites by the Olds American Legion, will be at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery prior to the service. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. The family will receive friends at their home. Memorials may be directed to the Olds United Church of Christ or the Henry County Hospice.
