Charles S. Painter
Charles S. Painter, 93, of Danville, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, at his residence.
Friends may call from 12-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in Elliott Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. The funeral for Mr. Painter will be Friday, at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Danville with Pastor Harry Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will be in Long Creek Cemetery, in rural Danville. Memorials have been established for the First Baptist Church of Danville and Danville Fire Department.
