Charles W. Eastburn

      Charles W. Eastburn, 79, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A private family graveside service will be June 30 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. June 29 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Memorials be made, in lieu of flowers, to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairfield, Naval Academy Athletic Association or Columbia University Baseball Association.

      Mr. Eastburn was born May 30, 1928, in Delta, the son of B. Ralph and Rachel Bennett Eastburn. He married Maxine M. Elliott Sept. 30, 1951, in Des Moines. She died Feb. 24, 2002.
