Charles “Chuck” passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2025.

Chuck Joslin, of Oak Park, Illinois, was born on March 11, 1935, to William Murray and Mary Catherine (Kallal) Joslin. He was a spiritual, positive, compassionate man who deeply valued time spent with family and friends. Chuck had a great love for music and found comfort in conversations with both friends and strangers. He attended St. Giles Grammar School, Oak Park River Forest High School, and the University of Colorado, as a proud member of the Buffalo’s 1957 Orange Bowl Championship team.

Chuck was the devoted husband of Margaret (Baker) Joslin for 63 years. He was the loving father of Mike, Ann (the late Daniel) Culligan, Nancy (Bill) Hogenkamp, Sharon (David) Baxter, the late Mark Joslin, the late David Joslin, and Matthew (Jessica) Joslin. Chuck was a proud grandfather to Nicolas, Megan, and Ryan Cindric; Audrey, Olivia, and Liam Hogenkamp; Cameron and Joslin Baxter; and Alana and Briggam Joslin. He was also the cherished brother of the late Bill (the late Mary Jane) Joslin, the late Barbara Wilkie, the late Tom (the late Veronica) Joslin, Mary (the late KJ) Phelan, and John (Carol) Joslin.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 969 Ulysses Street, Golden, CO 80401 at 10 A.M. on Friday, May 30, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
