Charles William Twinam

Charles William Twinam, 79, of Washington and formerly of Crawfordsville, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a two-year battle with cancer.

      Celebration of life services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington, with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg and the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Interment will take place 9:15 am Wednesday at the Crawfordsville Cemetery in Crawfordsville.

      Memorials have been established for the Crawfordsville First Responders, cancer research at the University of Iowa, or to the donor's choice.
