Charlotte E. Burden

      Charlotte Elaine Burden, 63, of West Point, formerly of New London and Mt. Pleasant, died at 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2003, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 24, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point, with Fathers Apo Mpanda and Barnabas Barker officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Link Funeral Home in West Point, with a rosary service at 4 p.m. and a scriptural wake service at 6 p.m. Memorials have been established to the West Point Fire and Rescue Unit and to the Marquette school system. The Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of the arrangements.
