Chase A. Garmoe

      Chase A. Garmoe, 69, of Hillsboro, died on Thursday, May 15, 2003, at his home, following a short illness.

      A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. The body has been cremated. A private family burial will follow at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Following the graveside service, friends will be invited to visit at the family home at 1101 Salem Road in Hillsboro. Visitation will begin after noon today at the chapel with a Rosary Service recited at 6:30 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials have been established to Crossroads Hospice of Southeast Iowa, the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and to the Hillsboro Fire and Rescue Unit.
