Cherie Lynn Gingerich Sapp
Cherie Lynn Gingerich Sapp, 67, of Washington, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Rick Bremel officiating. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday, at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Sapp was born on July 18, 1938, in Washington, to Ernest J. and Olive Helen (Kimmel) Leyden. She married Rex Eugene Gingerich on Aug. 19, 1954, in Washington.
