Cheryl Ann Billingsley, 60, of New London, Iowa, died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at her home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron. Services to celebrate the lives of Cheryl Ann Billingsley and her son, Tyler E.L. Billingsley whom died in California February 9, 2021, will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for the purchase of a headstone.

Cheryl was born July 30, 1961, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer LaVern and Alice Joyce (Wells) Billingsley. She graduated from Riverdale High School in 1979. She was a fun-loving person with a terrific sense of humor. She enjoyed watching spooky shows and cartoons. Above all else, she loved her family and many friends and she was deeply loved and spoiled by them in return.

She is survived by her sisters, Vicki (Don) Dague, Port Byron, Diane Joy (Steve Libe) Ainsworth, IA, Kathleen Billingsley, Brighton, IA, and Jill (Kenneth) McDowell, Ottumwa, IA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Tyler.
