Cheryl Regina Close
CEDAR RAPIDS - Cheryl Regina Close, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the First Christian Church in Vinton, with the Rev. David Thomas of the Central Assembly of God Church in Cedar Rapids officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, rural Brandon. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening, at the Overton-Van Steenhuyse Funeral Home in Vinton. A general memorial fund has been established.
