Cheryle Annette Nelson, age 60, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020, at her home.

Graveside service will be

at Antioch Cemetery, 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2020. The family requests that people dress comfortable.

Open visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, at Behner Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cheryle was born April 7, 1960, to Harold and Janalene (Clubb) Ladely in Sigourney, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Jeffery D. Nelson on February 4, 2006 in Fairfield, Iowa.

Cheryle owned and operated S and J. She cleaned homes and mowed yards. She helped on the farm and was a factory worker. She loved watching her birds, working in the garden and flowers. Cheryle's dogs were the love of her life

Cheryle will be missed by her husband, Jeffery D. of Fairfield; three children, April Cope, Holly Hackett and Trenton Dawson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mom, Janalene; and several brothers, sisters and many friends.

Cheryle was preceded in death by her dad, Harold; one son, Jr.; brother, Jimmy; and stepmother, Alice.
