Chester Crosby

      Chester Crosby, 74, of Pleasant Plain, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Washington Care Center in Washington.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Plain Friends Church, with the Rev. Stan Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery.

      Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.

      A memorial has been established to Brighton Volunteer First Responders.

      Arrangements are in the care of Gould Funeral Home of Brighton.

      Mr. Crosby was born in South Sioux City, Neb., the son of Franklin and Alice Hanson Crosby. He married Janet Hanshaw July 13, 1963, in Brighton.
