Chuck Clark

      Chuck Clark, 59, of Batavia, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia, with John Morrissey officiating. Inurnment will be in Des Moines River Primitive Baptist Cemetery near Eldon, with military rites conducted by O.B. Nelson American Legion Post No. 3 and Walter B. Schafer Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 775 of Ottumwa. His body has been cremated.

      Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

      Memorials may be directed to the family.

      Mr. Clark was born April 30, 1948, in Ottumwa, the son of Elmer and Effie Brown Clark. He married Mary Steele June 30, 2003, in Fairfield.
