Cindy Ballard

      DECORAH - Cindy Ballard, 50, of Decorah, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, in her home following a short battle with cancer.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther College Campus in Decorah, with the Rev. Amy Zalk Larson and the Rev. Mike Blair officiating. The body will be cremated. The family will greet friends after 10 a.m. prior to the memorial service.

      Mrs. Ballard was born Jan. 27, 1958, in Sigourney, the daughter of Charles William and Rosanna Lea (Hollingsworth) Hamilton. She married Gary Ballard on July 13, 2000 in at Dunning Springs in Decorah.
