Cindy Joy Chorpening, 59, of Washington, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at her home following a brief battle with colon cancer.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for the University of Iowa Children?s Hospital or the family?s choice. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with the arrangements.
