Clara A. Conner October 9, 1906- June 12, 2003

      Clara A. Conner, 96, formerly of Rural Route 5, Mt. Pleasant, IA, died at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2003, at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

      A funeral service for Mrs. Conner will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at the Trenton United Methodist Church. Pastor Jeffrey A. McPheron will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, at the Weir Funeral Home, 213 North Main Street, Mt. Pleasant. The family will be present to receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

      Survivors include a son and his wife, Frank Jr. and Marla Conner of Winfield; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Conner of Mt. Pleasant; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
