Clara A. Turner
KALONA-Clara A. Turner, 79, of Swisher, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Kalona Historical Society.
Mrs. Turner was born on June 5, 1924, in Kalona, to Frank J. and Julia (Roubicek) Nejedly. She married Hugh R. Turner in 1955, in Waterloo.
