Clara (Smith) George
RICHLAND - Clara (Smith) George, 90, of Keota, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, in Maplewood Manor in Keota.
Arrangements for a memorial service are pending at Gould Funeral Home in Richland. She bequeathed her body to the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that gifts be made in her honor to the Richland United Methodist Church or the Richland Public Library.
Mrs. George was born June 16, 1917, the daughter of Frederick "Fred" W. and Kathryn (Wilson) Smith in Richland. She married Andrew G. George on May 30, 1940, in Shenandoah.
