Clarence A. Smithburg
Clarence A. Smithburg, 90, of Lockridge, died at 4:55 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Veterans Medical Center in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 12 at the New Sweden Methodist Church northwest of Lockridge, with lay pastor Diane Brokken and the Rev. Tom Rimmer officiating. Burial with military rites will be at the New Sweden Methodist Church Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. A memorial has been established to New Sweden Methodist Church.
