Clarence Edward Fosdyck, age 57 of Fairfield, Iowa, died at 10p.m. August 19th at the University of Iowa Hospitals.

He was born June 2, 1965, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Ronald Fosdyck and Karen Helmick Fosdyck.

Ed (Stephanie) lived in Fairfield, Iowa. Ed lived a “big” life traveling to Alaska, Canada, Colorado and other various areas over the course of his life doing auto body and paint work.

Ed enjoyed so much in his life, his love for bikes, fishing, boating, hunting and camping and his dog Stroker.

He especially enjoyed time with friends and family, he cherished his time with his daughter Jessica and loved spoiling his grandchildren.

Ed knew a lot about a lot, he could do anything with a motorcycle (especially Harleys) and was an excellent paint specialist.

Surviving are his daughter Jessica Fosdyck of Ottumwa, his siblings, Ron Fosdyck Jr of Ottumwa, Bill (Toni) Fosdyck of Eldon, Robin (Tim) of Boones Mill, VA; his nephews, TJ, Ryan and Ron and his niece Karen, grandchildren Braxton, Adalynn and Jayce.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents Ron Fosdyck on August 18, 2022, and Karen Fosdyck on October 7, 2015.

Memorial Service is being held at 6 pm Tuesday, August 23, with family and friends at The Gathering Place, 302 West Jefferson, Fairfield, Iowa.
