Clarence L. Trueblood
Clarence L. Trueblood, 79, of Fairfield, died Friday, Sept. 28 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, with pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery in rural Birmingham.

Clarence was born June 16, 1928 in Lakefield, Minn., the son of Harry and Margie Lockner Trueblood.
He lived most of his life in the Fairfield area. He was a molder for the Iowa Malleable Iron Company for 41 years, was a member of Eagles Lodge and the First Lutheran Church and a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was involved in Fairfield Little League and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Donald Trueblood, daughter Donna Jens of Manassas, Va., son Donald Trueblood of Cedar Rapids, sister Fern Thornberg-Stacker of Mt. Pleasant, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His parents, brother Vern Trueblood and sister Marjorie Trueblood have preceded him in death.
