Clarette Morrow

Clarette Morrow, 84, of Kent, Wash., formerly of the Winfield and Swedesburg communities died Sunday, March 26, 2000, in Seattle, Wash.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swedesburg with the Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Interment will follow in the Swedesburg Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at Parish Hall in Swedesburg. Honts Funeral Home in Winfield is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Morrow was born June 29, 1915, in Winfield. She married Leo Morrow on June 4, 1938, at the Norman residence (the bride's home) in Winfield. She had lived in Fairfield from 1951 to 1966, in Riverside, Calif. from 1966 to 1980, and Kirkland, Wash. from 1980 until moving to Kent, Wash. in Sept. 1999 to an assisted living center. She was a former member of the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swedesburg.

Survivors include one son, Warren Morrow of Longmont, Colo.; one daughter, Marilyn Raymond of Kent., Wash.; two sisters, Ruth Anderson of Rock Island, Ill. and Helen McIntosh of Davenport; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons, Larry Morrow and an infant.
