Clifford A. Tomfeld August 12, 1920 - July 2, 2005

      Clifford A. Tomfeld, 84, of the West Point Care Center, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the care center.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7 at the Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, with the Rev. Judy Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in the Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Donnellson American Legion.

      Survivors include his wife of Fort Madison; and two sons, Craig and his wife Linda Tomfeld of Fort Madison, and Dale Tomfeld of Henderson, Nev.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, five sisters and three brothers.
