Clifford Durve Manning

Clifford Durve Manning, 78, of Bonaparte, died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Larry Wallingford officiating. Burial with military honors will be in McDowell Cemetery, southeast of Richland. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the American Cancer Society or McDowell Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 29, Bonaparte, IA 52620.

Survivors include a stepson, Charles and his wife Vickie Ridgeway of Porterville, Calif.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Rex and his wife Mattie Manning of Bonaparte; a sister, Josephine and her husband Gerald Turner of Farmington; and a sister-in-law, Florence Cornelius of Birmingham.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Donald, Walter and Wade in childhood; and a sister, Jessie Scabery.
