Clifford Lee Jacobs

      Clifford Lee Jacobs, 80, of Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness.

      A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa, with the Rev. Darryl Carr officiating. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

      Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

      A general memorial has been established.

      Mr. Jacobs was born April 5, 1928, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Hiram and Hattie Riley Jacobs.
