Clifford Lee Main

      WALKER - Clifford Lee Main, 88, of Walker, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, in Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha following an extended illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the Zion Presbyterian Church in Coggon with the Rev. Kurt Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Walker where the family will be present, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Coggon Cemetery in Coggon. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Main was born July 11, 1919, in rural Buchanan County, the son of Thomas L. and Ella May (Eckert) Main. He married Mary Popp on June 20, 1944, in Manchester.
