Clive M. Klopfenstein

Clive M. Klopfenstein, 75, of Ainsworth, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after failing in health for the past two years.

    Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the Ainsworth Community Church in Ainsworth with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation began at noon today at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the Ainsworth Community Church.

    Mr. Klopfenstein was born May 30, 1935, in Washington, the son of Lafe and Maxine (Mourer) Klopfenstein. He married Ginny Ellis on Aug. 18, 1973, in West Burlington.
