Cloyd Dwight Watson

      Cloyd Dwight Watson, 84, of Wayland, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, Iowa, following a lengthy illness.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville, with the Rev. Wayne Wilkin officiating. Burial will be in Hope Lutheran Cemetery.

      Visitation began at 4 p.m. today at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hope Lutheran Church or Wayland First Responders may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 301 W. Third St., Wayland 52654.

      Mr. Watson was born June 1, 1923, in Fremont, the son of Carl R. and Charlotte Lottie Martin Watson. He married Lois Eshelman Nov. 16, 1948, at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville.
