Colberta C. 'Colby' Penrod

      Colberta C. "Colby" Penrod, 76, of Fairfield, died at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at home.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

      Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-7 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to Iowa Hospice, 223 First Ave. E., Suite 2, Oskaloosa 52577, or McCreery Cancer Center in Ottumwa.

      Mrs. Penrod was born June 5, 1931, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Colbert J. and Eva L. Wheeler Weeks. She married Richard B. Penrod March 23, 1961.
