Connie Moon June 17, 1934 - December 28, 2003
Connie Moon, 69, of Chariton, died on Dec. 28, 2003, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines of a stroke.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton. Burial will be at Chariton Cemetery in Chariton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the First Presbyterian Church in Chariton and to the Lucas County Historical Society.
Survivors include two sons, Kurt Moon of Mt. Pleasant, and Scott Moon of Ankeny; two daughters, Lori Steinke of Indianola, and Terry Taylor of Ankeny; a brother, Frederick Tuttle of Torrance, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
