Constance Rose Krotz

      RIVERSIDE - Constance Rose Krotz, 86, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, in the Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha from cancer.

      Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vincent Cemetery in rural Riverside. Following the committal services, a time of food and fellowship will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. prayer service. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mrs. Krotz was born Dec. 28, 1921, near Hills, the daughter of George and Josephine (Birrer) Deatsch. She married Lloyd Leonard Krotz on May 1, 1941 in Riverside.
