Cora ?Avis? Rose, 98, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Thursday, March 14, 2002, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Jeffrey Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the American Lung Association and the Mapleleaf Healthcare Center.
