Cora D. Waldschmidt

      RIVERSIDE - Cora D. Waldschmidt, 75, of Riverside, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in the Greenwood Manor in Iowa City following an extended illness.

      Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Riverside. Following the committal services, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the St. Mary's Parish Center. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., in the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside. Memorials may be made to the Riverside First Responders.

      Mrs. Waldschmidt was born July 21, 1932, in Des Moines, the daughter of Glenn and Edna (Ackelson) Wilkinson. She married Charles A. Waldschmidt on Jan. 18, 1951, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside.
