Cora Bessie Duncan, 75, of Libertyville, passed away Aug. 5, 2019, at her home. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Behner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at

1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the funeral home with Pastor Philip Cressey Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Brethren Cemetery, Libertyville.

Cora was born Aug. 11, 1943, to Roscoe and Ruby (Branscomb) Stewart in Putman County, Mo. She married David Duncan on May 28, 1961, in Worthington, Mo.

Cora lived most of her life in the Fairfield and Libertyville area. She had her own in-home day care for several years. Some of Cora's interests were quilting and reading. She loved to travel. Most important to her, was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Cora was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

She will be missed by her husband of 58 years, David; three daughters, Terry (Tim) Dixon and Nancy (David) Oliver, both of Fairfield, and Linda (Gordon) Brown of Montrose; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Keith and Delbert Stewart.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Ruby; two sons, Dave Jr. and Philip; three brothers, Emil, Duane and James; and one sister, Mayme Collis.
