Cora Pauline Thornton, 67, of Owatonna, Minnesota, and formerly of Mount Pleasant passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, at the Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Pauline was born on December 29, 1952, in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne O. and Barbara Ann (Minor) Woodson. She had worked at Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mount Pleasant retiring in 2015.

She is survived by her children, Tina (Brad) Budin and Tammie (Scott) Skogberg both of New Ulm, Minnesota; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dwayne Woodson (Toni Sempf) of Mount Pleasant, and Jacky (Angie) Woodson of Brighton; one sister, Tina Sammons (Mike Leyda) of Mount Pleasant; and her stepmother, Catherine Gross of Mount Pleasant.

Pauline was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Wayne "Woody" Woodson; and her grandparents.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery rural Mount Pleasant. Cards and memorials may be sent to the funeral home in her memory.
