Cordell S. Yoder

Cordell S. Yoder, 91, of Kalona, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona.

    Celebration of life services were at 10 a.m. today at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. Don Patterson and the Rev. Richard Swartzendruber officiating.  Burial was at Lower Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Wellman.  A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home Alzheimer?s Wing.

    Mrs. Yoder was born Sept. 11, 1918, near Wellman, the daughter of Mahlon and Barbara (Hershberger) Swartzendruber.  She married Rolland M. Yoder on Dec. 11, 1938, at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church.
